What objects inspire contemporary designers? What do the things they surround
themselves with in their daily lives reveal about them? How do personal experiences, places, emotions, and memories shape the creation of objects that eventually find their way into our homes and public spaces?

Polish Design: Biography of an Object / Biography of a Designer is the first exhibition in Poland dedicated to contemporary design that explores designers through the lens of their personal belongings, private histories, and material biographies. The starting point is not merely the finished work, but the relationship between the creators and the objects that accompany them in their everyday lives and creative processes.
The exhibition will showcase the latest developments in Polish design, bringing together iconic works and new premieres alongside objects of special personal significance to their creators. The focus will extend beyond the final design outcome to the individuals behind the projects – exploring their inspirations, working methods, daily rituals, and personal histories. This approach offers an innovative perspective on Polish design, which has traditionally been presented primarily through the objects themselves and their functions.
Among the featured artists will be: Agnieszka Bar, Michał Boręcki, Jan Gliński, Maja Ganszyniec, Martyna Barbara Golik, Grynasz Studio, Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska, Magda Jurek, Malwina Konopacka, Krystian Kowalski, Piotr Kuchciński, Mati Sipiora, Nodi Studio, UAU project, Adam Skotarczak i Aleksandra Żeromska.
